Thomas Mills High School
Thomas Mills High School is a flourishing state-funded high school situated in the historic market town of Framlingham. It is consistently one of Suffolk’s highest performing 11-18 schools with many distinctive features. The school is an all-round place of learning with one prospective parent capturing that ‘it’s cool to learn here.’ Alongside academic excellence, we seek to nurture personal development and talent through a wide programme of extra-curricular opportunities from music and drama to sports and trips.
Our broad and balanced curriculum offers increased choice as pupils mature. We aim to provide high quality teaching. From Year 9 pupils enjoy a more flexible and individual curriculum. We are large enough to provide a good range of options and facilities; small enough not to become impersonal. Our Charter of Values shapes a school ethos. Although year groups are managed by Heads of Year, we also have a House system. The Houses are led by Sixth Form officials. There are other posts of responsibility including the Head Boy and the Head Girl.
