CiC has been delivering clinically-focussed Employee Assistance Programmes since 1989. We work with over 550 organisations across all sectors, including many in the education sector. Driven by our commitment to clinical excellence, we base the support we deliver on the understanding that every individual is unique and every organisation is different.

EAP service provision

EAP services are introduced by organisations to assist in the identification and resolution of employee concerns, which can be personal matters or work-related issues and, in some cases, can affect performance in the workplace. An EAP is an invaluable resource offering employees confidential expert advice and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The CiC package offers a 24/7 helpline; clinical assessment; up to six sessions of telephone, face to face or online counselling; legal information; debt support; family care advice, and ‘Everyday Matters’ a time management service.

In addition CiC offers access to a whistleblowing helpline; mediation and a wide range of training programmes.

The service is available to all your employees and their immediate family members. Calls are triaged by fully qualified, practicing counsellors, trained to identify the nature of the call and provide immediate appropriate support over the phone.

Fully trained, experienced CiC counsellors undertake the initial assessment to determine the most appropriate form of therapy (either face to face, online, VoIP or telephone). The service addresses the needs of those in a modern workplace and covers a wide range of both lifestyle and work-related issues.

CiC has provided many of our staff and their immediate families with confidential support. The staff that have advised that they have used the services of CiC have found it to be invaluable. They appreciate that they can remain anonymous if they want and that the support whether face to face or over the telephone is caring, trustworthy and compassionate. They believe that CiC takes the time to listen to their concerns to establish what the issues are and in return they receive the necessary support to make a positive difference and encouraging outcome.
