Whitefield is an outstanding school with a strong track record of innovation in spite of a challenging context. In 2020/21 we were proud to be Silver Winners of the Pearson Schools Award for Primary School of the Year – Making a Difference. Our area is ranked as an area of high deprivation, in the bottom 1% of the most deprived Wards in the country, and so many of the families in our community struggle to make ends meet at times and we are used to breaking down the barriers that brings.

Over the past 5 years the school’s results have been in the top three in Liverpool, and nationally we have been in the top 1000 primary schools for attainment and attendance. The school has awards for Inclusion, Mental Health and Attachment and Trauma Sensitive Practice and ADHD Friendly school status, and we are very proud of our Whitefield family.

“We value each child for who they are and prepare them for who they can be.”

At Whitefield everyone is treated equally, encouraged and respected.  We believe that all children should be able to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.  We are committed to our school being a safe and inclusive place where learning is nurtured and encouraged.
