We believe World Class schools prepare their students to thrive as global citizens in an economy shaped by rapid technological change, global competition, and entrepreneurial innovation. The World Class Education Network (WCEN) supports schools in developing students who not only achieve academic success but who also possess the confidence, character, and skills to make good decisions, take informed risks, and continuously improve. World Class students are equipped to navigate global opportunities with emotional and intellectual literacy, and to lead lives of purpose, achievement, and contentment.

The International Accreditation Process

Schools outside the UK can achieve WCEN International Accreditation by following a structured and supportive process that upholds the same high standards as UK-based accreditation:

  • Becoming a Candidate Member of WCEN and using the BeWorldClass platform to support student reflection and character development.
  • Receiving mentoring from an established International World Class School.
  • Completing the full WCEN Accreditation & Comprehensive Review process, including evidence submission and whole-school reflection.

Please contact us to explore whether your school is ready to begin the journey to international accreditation.

WCSQM Legacy of International Accreditation

In 2020, under the World Class Schools Quality Mark (WCSQM), Finham Park School in Coventry was designated as an International Accrediting School. It mentored Viva School in Uganda through the WCSQM process, demonstrating the value of cross-cultural partnership and shared standards of excellence.
