The World Class Education Network

The World Class Schools Quality Mark was established in 2018,  accrediting students using a framework of skills and competencies young people need to flourish in the rapidly developing economy. Having achieved its original goals and accrediting over 140 schools, we reorganised into a formal network of schools in 2023 – the World Class Education Network – with the aim of giving member schools greater control over the organisation itself.

We are not a conventional accreditation or assessment process. We assess the pupils, not the school, against a framework of skills, competencies and characteristics that young people need to flourish in an emerging global economy.

We are interested in recognising schools where students are World Class wherever you put them, beyond the school, in any given situation. Parents want to know which schools ensure that their children reach their full potential; universities want to know which schools are most successful at preparing students to excel in higher education; businesses want to know which schools are developing the brightest potential employees. The World Class Accreditation provides parents, universities and businesses with what they want to know. These schools provide the best for their students. Once World Class, schools in the network work together to give opportunities to their students regionally, nationally and internationally that they could not offer in isolation.

We believe all young people have the potential to be World Class, and every school has World Class students. To support these students and this potential, we provide a subscription and accreditation process.

Every school UK wide and internationally, can subscribe to the BeWorldClass app which gives students a platform they can use to identify and demonstrate their World Class characteristics.

Schools using the app which have a significant student cohort demonstrating World Class skills and competencies can apply for World Class accreditation.

Once World Class, schools in the network work together to give opportunities to their students regionally, nationally and internationally that they could not offer in isolation.

Our Latest Schools

It is the calibre of the student which proves the calibre of the school. If the school is truly World Class then the students will be able to own and demonstrate World Class qualities.
