2019 Accrediting World Class Schools announced at the WCSQM Awards Ceremony

On 13th December, teachers, headteachers and students joined us at our annual WCSQM Awards Ceremony, held at Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge University, to celebrate the achievement of World Class students UK-wide.
During the ceremony, attended by 500 school leaders, staff and students over 50 non-selective primary, secondary and special state schools from across the country, we celebrated the accreditation of 17 new secondary schools and 7 World Class primary schools. We also awarded the essay writing competition winners, the winner of our Individual Student Achievement Award, as well as celebrating the qualification of our recently qualified staff and student assessors.
For the first time, there was also an award for World Class School of 2019. The award was won by King Ecgbert School in Sheffield, whose students exhibited World Class skills and competencies during their hosting of the 2019 Symposium in July, and whose Year 9 student Agnes also won the WCSQM Essay Competition Award.

The Awards Ceremony was sponsored by the World Class school learning management system Dynamic Progress Reporting.
